AUFA Members Mailing List Moderation Policy

The AUFA mailing list serves as a communication tool for AUFA members to connect with each other, and to share information relating to AUFA, workplace and/or labour news, issues, and concerns. The AUFA mailing list is not a forum for political and/or academic debate. Discrimination and harassment are strictly prohibited.

  1. All AUFA members are welcome to use the AUFA mailing list to share information that directly relates to the AUFA, workplace and labour news, issues, and concerns.

  2. Conversations which are not in keeping with the spirit of the list will be redirected by moderators.

  3. If an AUFA member sends an email to the mailing list that is deemed to be in violation of the list rules, the AUFA member will be given a warning. If an AUFA member violates the rules a second time, they will be prohibited from posting on the AUFA mailing list for one month. A third violation will result in a permanent removal from the list.

  4. Moderator rulings may be appealed to the AUFA Executive with the deciding moderator recusing themselves from discussion. The motion of AUFA Executive is binding.
