AUFA members vote to ratify collective agreement with 97.7% majority

AUFA representatives shared a Memorandum of Settlement to the AUFA membership with an accompanying presentation on Tuesday the 20th. A ratification vote was held and the vote has now closed.

The results are:

Yes: 337 (97.7%)

No: 8 (2.3%)

Turnout: 345 of 417 electors

The Board of Governors will now convene an emergency meeting for their own ratification vote. Should that be successful, negotiations will be done and AUFA will have a new contract with Athabasca University.
